The Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standards (DSS) is a global information security standard designed to prevent fraud through increased control of credit card data. Organizations of all sizes must follow PCI DSS standards if they accept payment cards from the five major credit card brands - Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover. Compliance with PCI DSS is required for any organization that stores, processes, or transmits payment and cardholder data.  You must successfully complete your questionnaire to be considered 'compliant' and to avoid the non-compliance monthly fee.  
  1. Therasoft Support automatically completes the necessary PCI compliance questionnaire for your account as soon as it's approved, as well as the yearly reassessment that is due each year.

Steps to check PCI Compliance status:
  1. Follow this link www.clearent.com and click client sign-in at the top of the screen to sign in to your merchant account
  2. Once logged in, click the Data Guardian button on the left side of the screen

  3. On the next page, click Summary in the top right corner

  4. You will see your PCI Compliance status along with the date the questionnaire was completed
